- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened (one stick)
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 15 ounce container whole milk ricotta cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- ½ cup almonds, finely chopped
Topping
- ¼ cup sliced almonds
- 1 tablespoon powderedsugar

- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
