Bloomfield, Pittsburgh’s historic Italian American neighborhood, will once again host the city’s annual Columbus Day Parade on October 12 at 11 a.m.
The 2024 parade will feature more than 100 bands, floats, organizations and businesses, each paying tribute to the city’s Italian American community — the fifth largest in the nation.

The procession will kick off on Liberty Avenue near West Penn Hospital, marching toward the Bloomfield Bridge and passing the reviewing stand in the center of the corridor.
This year’s Grand Marshal is Michael Facchiano, Jr., who leads Facchiano Contracting Co., a prominent commercial construction company founded by his father in 1956, and recognized as one of the region’s leaders in the industry, according to Patch.
Several ISDA leaders are co-organizing the event, including ISDA Western PA Vice President Sharon Cerrone; and Tony Ferraro, Chairman of the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame.
Last, but certainly not least, numerous Pittsburgh-area ISDA lodges are participating in the parade.
Join us for this can’t-miss celebration!
