Italian model and actress Monica Bellucci, 58, told Elle France this week that she is, in fact, dating veteran Director Tim Burton, 64.

The pair sparked their relationship on the set of Beetlejuice 2 in London, with Bellucci playing the wife of the head-spinning ghoul, played by Michael Keaton. The sequel will premiere next year.

“What I can say … I’m glad I met the man, first of all,” Bellucci told Elle. “It’s one of those encounters that rarely happens in life. … I know the man, I love him, and now I’m going to meet the director, another adventure begins.”

Bellucci, who appeared in The Matrix trilogy, was married twice, first to French-Italian photographer Claudio Basso, then to French actor Vincent Cassel.

In 2022, Burton broke off a 13-year relationship with English actress Helena Bonham Carter.
