The new season of Stanley Tucci’s “Searching for Italy” was set to premiere on Sunday, March 13, but the actor and CNN host has decided to push that date back due to the violence and turmoil in Ukraine.
Tucci made the announcement on social media:
Over the past several months, Tucci was spotted during shooting in Turin, Valle D’Aosta, Venice and Umbria, to name a few.
News of the Season 2 premiere comes months after the release of his third book “Taste: My Life Through Food”, where he describes a tumultuous fight with oral cancer in 2017 that required radiation therapy and a feeding tube.
Fortunately, the cancer did not metastasize and Tucci regained his sense of taste and smell, and he made a full recovery.
